Allowing 2-night minimum for Memorial Day weekend

Quiet Creek Inn is now allowing 2-night bookings for the studios and suites that are left for Memorial Day weekend. Check availability and rates using our online Reservation Calendar.

The weather’s been gorgeous, the creek is flowing, all the foliage is green and lush, and Memorial Day is one of two weekends per year when you’ll find a garage sale on nearly every street.

In addition to the garage sales, yoga is available in our Barn Loft Saturday morning at 9 am, the Rotary Club is doing their Sunday morning pancake, eggs & ham breakfast and that afternoon at 3 pm the Associates of Idyllwild Arts will host their annual Musicale. The Musicale features classical chamber music by the Marion View Ensemble is a fund raiser that benefits Idyllwild Arts scholarships. There will be lots more going on – these are just some highlights.

More than 50% of our bookings come from repeat guests and referrals from repeat guests. We are very pleased with this loyalty and have decided to change our Quiet Creek Travel Club discount from 10% off every third booking to 5% off EVERY booking (trust me… I did the math… this is a better discount for our loyal, repeat guests). Mention that you are a repeat or returning guest when asked how you heard about us and, assuming we can find your name in our system, your discount will be automatically applied – you don’t even have to ask and you certainly don’t have to carry around yet another affinity card like for PetCo – you have enough credit card shaped plastic in your wallet already!

Also, in honor of our active duty military we will continue to offer a 5% Active Duty Military Discount. Please ask for it when you book and bring your Military ID card with you at check-in.

Quiet Creek Inn Spa Casa update

Quiet Creek Inn’s Spa Casa is now offering the ability to book yoga and massage at the same time as booking lodging online using simple clicks of the mouse to add either or both to your reservation.

Spa Casa is now offering three yoga classes a week in the Quiet Creek Inn Barn Loft: Saturdays, 9-10 am, and Mondays & Thursdays, 4-5 pm. The recommended donation is $10 per person and child care is available for $3 (please reserve childcare in advance by phone or email).

Blanket of snow & blue skies

What more can one ask but a blanket of fluffy snow and blue skies. The temp is already mid 40’s – don’t know how long the snow will last – come up today there’s plenty of availability at the inn tonight and Thursday night. The inn is sold out this weekend but we have a romantic in-village apartment available called Artist’s Metro Flat. Light snowfall

Off and on light snowfall all day but not really sticking yet – at least not in the village area. We’ll probably wake up to a fluffy blanket of snow in the morning. Come play in the snow mid-week and enjoy discounted rates.

Idyllwild has transformed in to a winter wonderland!

Idyllwild is covered under a blanket of snow about 6-8 inches of the fluffy stuff – more than was expected. Come on up and enjoy it. There are some rooms available at the Inn for Friday or Sunday (nothing for Saturday) and there are a few vacation rental cabins available for a two-night minimum. Check out our new online reservation system to select something. Note that there are two systems two choose from. One for the Inn and one for the Vacation Rentals.
