Hatha Yoga: 9:30am-10:30am Mondays + Thursdays + Saturdays

Kids Yoga: 10:45am – 11:30am Mondays + Thursdays

Restorative Yoga: 5pm-6pm Sundays

Friday Fitness at Quiet Creek Inn – take a hike!

Rebecca’s fitness class this Friday, 5/17, at Quiet Creek Inn will take a hike on the Hillside/Perimeter Trail loop in the County Park. We’ll leave from Quiet Creek Inn upper parking lot at 8:15 am. If we do it right (with a little hustle) it should take exactly an hour. Bring water and wear exercise or hiking shoes.

Personal trainer fitness classes now available at Quiet Creek Inn

Quiet Creek Inn is pleased to announce the addition of small group fitness classes in the Barn Loft by personal trainer and part-time innkeeper Rebecca Odum. These classes are open to the pubic and can also be booked in advance by our guests. Here’s the schedule:

8:15-9:15 am, Mon, Wed & Thurs
6:00-7:00 pm, Tues
Fee: $10, $5 for locals

Quiet Creek / Spa Casa yoga update

There will be no public yoga at Quiet Creek Inn on Saturday, 5/18, because of a Yoga Retreat that weekend. Our next public yoga class will be on Saturday, 5/25.

Effective Thursday, 6/6, Spa Casa will offer the following yoga options at Quiet Creek Inn:

9:30-10:30 am, Mixed Level Hatha Yoga, Thurs, Sat, Sun & Tues
10:45-11:30 pm, Kids Yoga, Thurs & Tues
$10 donation per class or buy a personal or family package of 10 for $80

Spectacular Spring weather in Idyllwild

Idyllwild is turning lush and green and Strawberry Creek as it flows through Quiet Creek Inn is gorgeous. The lilacs are just beginning to fade but the creekside ferns haven’t hit their stride yet. The temp this weekend should be in the 70s under blue skies.

A marriage proposal at Quiet Creek Inn tonight!

This is so sweet I had to post it: a guest booked our creek view king suite several weeks ago with the special request that he be able to decorate the room with rose petals and candles earlier in the day so he can propose to his girlfriend this evening after dining at the Gastrognome. He agreed to have all the candles (72 of them!) in glass votive holders so we agreed to light all the candles, the log in the fireplace and turn all the lights off before he arrived after dinner. He wrote his proposal on the glass slider and “please say yes” with a red heart on the mirror over the sofa. IT’S SOOOO COOL! This is how it’s done guys!

Quiet Creek Inn Spa Casa Yoga Update

As we head into winter, Spa Casa, is adjusting our yoga schedule. As of Wednesday December 19, 2012, yoga classes at Quiet Creek Inn will be held on Wednesdays 4:30-5:30 pm and Saturdays 9-10 am. Classes are held in the Barn Loft, are mixed level flow series, mats are provided and the fee is $10 per class.

Spa Casa has also reduced the cost of custom messages to $80 per hour.

Gorgeous weather for this weekend’s Music Festival at Quiet Creek Inn

The temp promises to be in the 80-82 range during the day and nighttime temps in the 50’s for this weekend 2nd Annual Music Festival Fund Raiser for Earth Witness and Idyllwild Community Fund.
