This is so sweet I had to post it: a guest booked our creek view king suite several weeks ago with the special request that he be able to decorate the room with rose petals and candles earlier in the day so he can propose to his girlfriend this evening after dining at the Gastrognome. He agreed to have all the candles (72 of them!) in glass votive holders so we agreed to light all the candles, the log in the fireplace and turn all the lights off before he arrived after dinner. He wrote his proposal on the glass slider and “please say yes” with a red heart on the mirror over the sofa. IT’S SOOOO COOL! This is how it’s done guys!
