Mark your calendar for one of our favorite summer art events of the year, the 10th Annual Plein Air & 3-D Art Festival. Friday June 10 – Sunday June 12.
Quiet Creek will be hosting a fascinating Plein Air panel with Q&A, demos, and a mini-exhibition Friday evening at 7 pm ,and also hosts the Sunday morning Plein Air exhibition, awards presentation, and champagne reception in the gallery.
Throughout Saturday Idyllwild galleries, including ours, will promote “3-D” or sculptural art of various forms: clay, glass, fabric, jewelry and such. Participating Plein air artists will be discovered with paint and easles throughout Idyllwild. Last year it was a treat to look over the shoulders of over half a dozen talented oil & acrylic painters capturing the Inn property and views of Strawberry Creek.
A few participating artists will be staying at the inn but there are still rooms available and plenty of vacation rental cabins.
