For all of you calling to ask if there’s still snow on the ground and if the roads are clear but not really interested in booking lodging… yes there is still several inches of snow on the ground at the higher elevations in Pine Cove and probably upper Fern Valley and yes the roads are clear but there will be shady access roads still iced-over as I nearly fell on my butt on one yesterday.  Otherwise the weather is clear and sunny with highs today likely in the low 60s.  The creek is flowing and we have some lovely and loud waterfalls below our guest cabins.
