Chris Riesen, formerly of Village Properties, Idyllwild, joined Quiet Creek Real Estate, Idyllwild, this past week. Chris brings 22 years of real estate experience to the efforts of serving Quiet Creek Real Estate’s buyers and sellers. Chris will be working as a buyer’s agent for Quiet Creek’s current buyers; helping them to find their perfect second home/vacation rental cabin in Idyllwild.
Chris started her career in the Los Feliz and Hollywood Hills area of Los Angeles with Jon Douglas Company, which was eventually bought by Coldwell Banker. Chris subsequently moved to the boutique sized DBL Realtors in Los Feliz, which was acquired by Sotheby’s International Realty in 2004.
Chris moved to Idyllwild in 2005 – the same year Jim and Mike bought Quiet Creek Inn. There are other parallels to Chris and Jim’s history. Both started their career in the clothing industry as buyers. Jim secured his real estate license in 1984 and Chris earned hers in 1987. Jim moved between management in small boutique companies (Dave Stubbs Real Estate, Solana Beach) and large multi-office conglomerates (Prudential California Realty, San Diego County). They also both worked in real estate along the coast before resettling to the more serene mountain environment of Idyllwild.
Chris will be able to give our clients the attention they deserve, which I have not been able to do while running the inn and vacation rental business. I’m excited to have her on board.
