We've been getting calls about air quality, road conditions, etc.

The air is clear up here today. We had a little haze yesterday from off-shore winds but it seems to have cleared up over night. The daytime temps will be in the mid-70s and nighttime in the mid 40s. It's temperate and nice.

We were in San Diego on Wednesday and all the roads we needed to and from there were fine (I-15, 163, 79S, 371, 74, 243 - our usual route via Temecula, Anza & Garner Valley). As far as we know all the routes from the LA and Orange County areas are fine as well. Use the "Directions" link on our web site. There were high winds last night and it will be windy today but there are no fires in the San Jacinto Mountains. According to the Press-Enterprise (www.pe.com) I-15 is closed in the Rancho Bernardo area. If traveling through that area check with CalTrans or SigAlert and consider an alternate route.

The inn is sold out for the weekends of 10/12 & 13 and 10/19 & 20 and is nearly sold out the weekends of 10/26 & 27 and 11/2 & 3 but we do have lovely vacation rental cabins available for each of these weekends.

We're still experiencing beautiful fall weather with splashes of color coming through. Guests are enjoying our romantic wood burning fireplaces on these crisp, cool evenings. Day time temps are in the 60s and 70s and night time drops into the 30s & 40s. It's great hiking weather up here!

The temperature has dropped about 10 degrees (at 9am it's 44 degrees) and the high for tomorrow's Art Walk & Wine Tasting is expected to be in the high 50s and clear - beautiful, crisp, fall weather. Bring a jacket and sweater.

We will not be booking check-ins for Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, so our online booking system must require a four-night minimum. We can, however, book a three-night stay if you call us and as long as you are checking-in on either the Wednesday before Thanksgiving or the Friday after and are booking for three nights or more.
