Tiny little flecks of snow started falling about an hour ago.  They are larger now but still not sticking.  This winter storm has finally arrived.  It’s so gentle I hate calling it a storm… how about this winter weather finally arrived?

Idyllwild village area was covered in a dusting of snow last night.  It’s 7:45 am and I  just saw a pick-up drive by with 3-4″ on it so there was obviously more at the higher elevations like Fern Valley and Pine Cove.  Those looking for snow play opportunities will have to look to the higher elevations for satisfaction.
