| Quiet Creek Inn & Vacation Rental Policies | |
| • | RESERVATION GUARANTEE: A rent deposit equivalent to one-night’s lodging plus occupancy tax is due and collected at the time of the booking for stays of less than one week. For stays of longer than one week 50% of the lodging plus occupancy tax (when applicable) will be collected at the time of booking but shall not exceed 50% of one month. If you must cancel, your deposit, less a $25 processing fee, is refundable if we are notified at least fourteen (14) days in advance (30 days for holidays, groups and special events). In the event of a cancellation fourteen (14) days or less before the arrival date, regardless of the reason, the guest expressly authorizes the innkeeper to charge the balance due to the guest’s credit card, less any nights that the innkeeper is able to re-book. Unless authorized by the Innkeeper, a failure to check-in during the standard check-in period (2-8 p.m.) signifies a “no show” and relieves the innkeeper of the responsibility of holding the room for any additional nights. |
| • | CLEANING FEE: There is no cleaning fee for inn rooms. There will be a departure cleaning fee due at check-in for Vacation Rental homes based on the size of the home: $60 for one or two bedroom cabins, $75 for three, and $95 for four or more bedroom cabins plus $25 for auxiliary guest apartments. Cleaning fees are established on a house-by-house basis and some homes with fewer bedrooms might have a larger cleaning fee because of overall size or difficulty in cleaning. |
| • | MINIMUM STAYS & DISCOUNTS: Generally, weekends (Friday & Saturday nights) have a two-night minimum stay requirement but a one-night stay may always be booked on Thursday, or earlier, if there’s a “hole” to fill at the inns. One night bookings may be allowed in advance subject to seasonal availability – the reservation calendar is always up to date as to what’s allowed for a given weekend. Vacation Rentals may be booked for a one-night stay with a 50% rent rate surcharge and the standard cleaning fee (rates are based on two night bookings and some vacation rental owners never allow one night bookings). If you are unable to book a one-night stay online, because of minimum stay requirements, please give us a call at 800-450-6110. All week nights at Quiet Creek Inn are discounted 10% off of the weekend rates. Week nights at Vacation Rental cabins, of two-night or longer stays, earn a 10% discount. The reservation calendar applies this discount automatically. Seven-night or longer stays receive discounted weekly pricing and 30-day or longer stays receive discounted monthly pricing. Quiet Creek Travel Club has been created to thank our loyal guests for their repeat business. Discounts of 10% can be earned for every third stay and for booking travel through QuietCreekTravel (excluding airfare only bookings) but do not apply to weekly or monthly rates, which are already heavily discounted. Weekly, monthly and Quiet Creek Travel Club discounts are applied manually when the reservation is processed. |
| • | CHECK-IN/OUT: Check in time is from 2:00 p.m. to 8 p.m.; late arrivals are only accepted with prior approval, however, check-ins are allowed on Fridays until 10:00 pm and arrangements can be made for later arrivals. When occupancy is high we cannot guarantee that accommodations will be ready by 2:00 p.m., although we make every effort toward that goal. Check out time is by 11 a.m. |
| • | PETS: A maximum of two pets are allowed in select properties and Inn rooms with prior approval, a “pet deposit” if paying by cash or check, and a $35 cleaning surcharge. You MAY NOT leave your pet(s) alone in an Inn room or Vacation Rental cabin. Please do not allow your pets on the furniture, including the bed, unless you provide your own cover for the furniture. You must clean up after your pet while on the property – even if in a wooded area. See pet policies, linked below. |
| • | OCCUPANCY/CHILDREN: Pricing is based on double occupancy to make our more expensive cabins more affordable for couples or smaller groups. Occupancy of more than two guests adds from $10 to $15 per guest per night. If a child uses a bed they count as an occupant; toddlers and infants in port-a-cribs are not included as fee-based occupants. Occupancy is established at the time of the booking and the number of beds used will be an indicator of occupancy. The innkeeper must be notified in advance about any change in the number of guests, which might require separate accommodations or an extra fee. The occupancy for most of the rooms at the Inn is two persons. Families with young children or more than one child are generally directed to one of our vacation rental homes. The vacation rental homes range in occupancy from one to eleven persons. It is important that cabins not be overloaded as they are all on septic systems that might not be able to handle more than the maximum occupancy for the cabin. |
| • | NO SMOKING: Smoking is only allowed on decks or patios and not inside any of our properties. Some Vacation Rental Homes do not allow smoking anywhere on the property. |
| • | FIREWOOD: At Quiet Creek Inn, for environmental and fire safety reasons only firelogs may be used; wood fires are prohibited. Quiet Creek Inn will provide two firelogs per night. Additional firelogs are available for five dollars each. Neither firewood nor firelogs are provided at the vacation rental cabins. In most cases a Duraflame type fire log is preferred and in some cases required because of the size of the fire box. |
| • | ACCESS: Access to properties cannot be guaranteed because of significant weather events, such as snow or ice. |
| • | POLICY ENFORCEMENT: Violating a policy can be grounds for immediate eviction, forfeiture of lodging fees and liability for damages. |
| • | LIABILITY WAIVER: Guest agrees to sign a liability waiver at check in. |
